IN PROGRESS TTN Gene Curation
Gene-disease assertions not curated here (add link or write note):
Need an SOP for TTN to lay out the domains / exons / psi for what is reportable and what is not. If I remember correctly, the PSI % is important for DCM, but at Invitae we used the exon number / band to determine a variant classification. I think primarily A band variants are associated w/ DCM and M band variants have been reported in congenital myopathy.
PMID: 34662387 looks like a good review.
I band variants reported in recessive congenital multi-mincore disease w/o cardiac invovlement 31053406

Curation Summary - The @GENE@ is associated with @inheritance pattern@ @condition@, which is characterized by @clinical features@ (PMIDs). - Variable expression or severity: - Limited evidence gene: The PCNA gene has been reported in individuals with early onset autosomal recessive ataxia (PMID: 33426167, 24911150), however, evidence supporting this gene-dIsease relationship is limited |
