MyMachinesOnly alerts
This type of alert works based on a custom view where "Show My Machines Only" = true. This looks at Jira instrument data to see who the assignee of a machine is.

- Check to see if you are set as the assignee to the instrument in question in JIRA.
- Ask analytics to check the alert to see if your name is on it.
Group alerts
Group alerts work by sending custom views based by department (e.g. view = "WGS" in the Instrument QC report) and having those custom views send alerts to a single google group.

The alert Artel Due (WGS Group) is an alert on a saved custom view called WGS where the Department filter is set to WGS. Also, this alert is sent to the wgs_group Tableau/active directory user, which is associated to the wgs@broadinstitute.org google group email. |
