High level overview
Alerts notify individual machine owners if any instrument is due for a QC soon. If an individual doesn't perform the QC, an alert is sent to the larger department (e.g. CLIA, WGS) responsible for the machine before the QC due date.
Active alerts per QC type:
- Instrument QC LeakTest - 30 days spec
- MyMachinesOnly will alert individual owners at 26 daysÂ
- Group alerts will send alerts to google groups at 28 days

Not getting MyMachinesOnly alerts?
- Check to see if that you are set as the assignee to of the instrument in question in JIRA.
- Ask analytics to check the alert to see if your name is on it.
