Group alerts work by sending alerts for saved custom views based by department (e.g. view = "WGS" in the Instrument QC report) and having those custom views send alerts to a single google groupto relevant role account users. Google group users that want to be included in this setup need to contact BITS and request a role account for that google group so that Tableau may discover it.
